Struggling with apps

On my settings my Apple ID shows up as ***@gmail.com and I know the password to this so this is fine, however I’ve gone on my phone and a lot of my apps need updating and refreshing so I’ve clicked on them to do so and it’s asking for my old Apple ID account password and is automatically typing in my old Apple ID username and won’t let me type in my new one even though my new one is set up on my settings so I now can’t update my apps that need updating or re download some, how can I fix this and change it all to my new Apple ID

A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. After deleting the apps, it may be necessary to restart the device/computer before you can download the apps again. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.

Or you can try to set up Family Sharing between the IDs to keep access to your purchases.
