my macbook pro battery keeps dying and sometimes wont take a charge

battery wont last more than 2 hours in macbook pro and sometimes afetr a recharge battery shows its dead

Hi,

Resetting SMC could solve the issue.

If it doesn't help, try to check your battery with Apple Diagnostics if it reports something related battery error.
