How do I restore the messages app if it was accidentally deleted?

Hi @Birdjones

It is actually impossible to delete the Messages app. Are you sure you didn't accidentally delete another messaging app that looks like Messages?

Have you searched for the app?

See if anything here helps.

If necessary, you will need to restore the device to factory settings. Do not restore from a backup made when the Screen Time code was active.
