How do I check if my phone is infected by malware and how could I get rid of it if it has? Video popped up out of nowhere and slightly worried. I don’t remember installing anything weird.. If anyone could give me some advice, much appreciated.

Unless it is jailbroken you cannot have malware on the iPhone.
It can receive spam via email & calendar & browser popups which are different.
Where was the video playing? If on a website then it’s most likely embedded in that site.
Hi, thanks for your reply. My phone isn’t jailbreak one, happened on drawing browsing app which i had on for 3+years, no problem until today. While I was using Youtube, my hand slipped and taken to ‘ad’ website. Closed it immediately but could this cause any issue?
i’ve now uninstalled the app and cleared safari’s history and data. Is there way to know if something is in my phone?
There’ll be nothing unwanted installed on your phone. You did the right thing by clearing the history & data. I hope that included cookies, if not then clear cookies as well.
