Can I view the photos I took separately from other photos?

Hi everyone,

I just started using ios. I was lately using android and in the android system every photos were in the their own folder. For example;

If you download a photo from Twitter, the photo will save in the "twitter" folder. And if you take a photo with camera, when you open the gallery you see only the photos that you took.

On the other hand in iphone my gallery is all mixed up. All the photos are together with my taken photos. And I couldnt find any way to organize them.

I'm an amateur photographer and I'm constantly involved in photographs. And I don't want to see any other photos in my gallery other than the ones I took. Is there any way to view the photos I took separately from other photos?

Thanks!

iPhone 12, iOS 14

Hi there Blghns,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We understand you're wanting to view only the photos you took on your iPhone, and we'd be happy to provide you with the best steps.

To get started, open the Photos app on your iPhone, then tap Albums near the bottom of the display. From there, scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap 'Live Photos' under 'Media Types'. This should show you all the photos that were taken with your iPhone.

Also, take a look at this great resource that can help with organizing and finding photos on your iPhone: Organize and find your photos on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

We hope that's able to help!

Have a great day!
