Apple ID on iPhone

Hi,

I am currently using my apple id for both mine and my wife's phone.

My wife has a separate apple id - this is still current in iCloud with all her info still available.

As both iPhones have my apple id, all photo's/contacts etc have doubled up.

How do I delete all my info on my wife's phone and have her own apple id/pics/contacts etc.

I have tried to change details on her phone , but also repeats on mine as I presume these devices are being run as parallel items.

What would be the steps to take so that I don't lose any info on my phone ?

Thanks

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 14

If she wants to start over again, do the below to make it 'her' phone.

Selling/Giving Away Device.

Or, if she wants to keep what is on the phone, when changing to the new ID, there may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed. See Winston Churchill's response in the below discussion. If possible, also set up Family Sharing  between the IDs to keep access to your apps/purchases.
