Photo booth video dates

When I export a photo booth video, the date in info is the date of the export and not the creation date in photo booth. How can I find out the recording date?

I’ve also very looking for compressors without watermarks or pixilated resolution that will shrink over 650MB.

If I export the same JPG file from Photos and type Get Info (command-I) for the resulting file, the date shows the date of export. Is there a way also to see the creation date in the exported photo without explicitly typing it in as part of the photo title?

Yes, that is true, but specifically, "Date Created" is the date the file was first copied to Finder on that specific device, and NOT necessarily the date the photo or video was actually first taken. Therefore, it's only when you take a photo or video on one device, then copy it to Finder on another device on the same day when Date Created in Finder is accurate. The only way I'm aware of to determine the accurate Date Taken on a photo or video is to move it to the Photos app, right-click on it there and click Get Info, where the actual date taken is shown. If there's a way to determine the actual Date Taken of a photo or video in Finder, I sure would like to know. I'd think this would be a no-brainer feature for Finder to have.

Photos Smart Album Capture Date Failure Smart Albums in Photos is not reliably find the correct Capture Date for all my photos. Anything with a date earlier than about 2001, it just looses the plot. I've checked, double checked and twice EXIF data and is all correct. Smart Albums were created sequentially by copying and editing required capture date criteria. After 2001 it just stopped finding photos in my Library. Anyone got a fix for this?

The name that is auto created at least has it. I believe the “get info” does show the original date until compressed.
