Keyboard position on my iPad

For some reason my keyboard has gone small and it’s position is bottom left of my screen. It’s horrible. How can I rectify this.

Help!

Onscreen keyboard moved to mid screen - now unable to view item responding to...IPad pro 2016, last IOS16 update. Updated IOS16 recently (before IOS17 tossed me out of support chain). It was the last IOS16 update and the keyboard moved from native/always bottom of screen location to midway. This now overlays (obscures but allows entry from keyboard) anything I may be attempting to write until I hide the keyboard. I then need to bring it up to type further. This means a back and forth procedure that is nearly obscene. Is there a reset or known procedure to get this back to it's home position?

Keyboard is minimized in some apps My ipad keyboard is fixed in left center of page and minimized. There is no bar at bottom. Spreading doesn't work. Rebooting doesn't change it. Deleting and reinstalling app doesn't work. What have I missed?
