Ever since I connected my MacBook Air to a wireless USB mouse and wireless Apple keyboard, it requires them after I login. In otherwords, I can use the MacBook Keyboard and touchpad to login, but then those are disabled after login.

To confirm, if you disconnect the wireless keyboard and mouse from your MacBook and reboot, does your MacBook's keyboard and trackpad work without issue? In other words, when those wireless peripherals are unpaired, do things go back to working?

Do you experience the same behavior when you log into a different user on your MacBook? If you don't have another user set up, please set up a test account to try that out. Here’s how: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

If the issue happens in either user account, try resetting the SMC and NVRAM, then test again: How to reset the SMC of your Mac and Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac
