Switching Apple Id for music

Question

I have an apple ID on my old phone which I have had for years with tons of music on it.

New phone has a new ID.

Can I move the old to the new?

Or do I have to cancel and lose all my music and start again?

If this is purchased music, you can try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs if you want to be able to share purchases made with the IDs.
