Email not working

My email has stopped working. I can receive, but not send. I use the Apple email app connected to my AOL email service. I've tried everything to get them back in compatibility, but I'm afraid my efforts probably made things worse. Is there a simple set of instructions or a wizard to allow me to check out or start fresh with all my settings?

iMac 27″, macOS 11.1
