Sounds like it may be time to make an appointment at your nearest Apple Store for an evaluation and explanation of your options. Hopefully, you synched your photos to your iCloud account or backed them up to your computer or external drive. The time to back-up important photos and data is BEFORE catastrophe strikes. After is usually too late.
