iPhone 11’s sound issues

I bought the iPhone 11 new back in November 2019. Six months later the front microphone/top speaker broke and I can only hear phone calls on speaker. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. I can only hear the person I’m calling when I make/take phone calls by putting them on speaker or using my air pods. Is this a common hardware issue?
