Apple Care

I want to add Apple Care to my new Apple Watch SE and I choose to use my PayPal Credit to pay for it. Everything from Apple says I can, I even paid for the watch with PayPal credit, but no matter how I access the page to purchase it they only give me the option of using a credit card and NOT PayPal. I don’t understand.
