Seagate HDD 5TB isn’t showing up on iPad

I have a 5TB Seagate external HDD and it does not get recognized by my iPad Air 2020.

I have formatted it to exFat with my windows laptop and connected it via a powered USB hub to my iPad, but it still doesn't show up in the files app. I can see the drive light up and vibrate but nothing shows up. There are no errors as well. I used a Belkin usb c to usb a cable to connect it. If I put a flashdrive in it it works so the cable is not the problem.

can anyone please help me?

Let me know if there is anything more that needs to be checked or is 5TB volume something that just is not supported by iPadOS.

Make sure it has no partitions. iPads can only read from one volume on a external drive.

I’m really frustrated with this situation and I’ve seen other people on this platform with the exact same problem as me with no real answer to this problem. I honestly think iPad just doesn’t support 5TB HDD. They should have mentioned this somewhere so that I could have bought the correct harddrive...

It has only 1 partition. 1 cable is in the HDD and the other end of that same cable is in my iPad. Is it possible that the brand Seagate is the problem? Or are 5TB HDD drives not supported?
