Wipe OS 9.2
Would someone be able to provide step-by-step instructions on how to wipe a Mac using OS 9.2, please? I want to wipe it before recycling it.

If the machine had an iTunes account on it, be sure to to tell the machine to forget the iTunes account from iTunes before reformatting.
Backup any personal data to another source before reformatting.
Get a copy of the original installation discs, and use the Option key to boot off those discs, or Apple menu -> Control Panels -> Startup Disk.
As part of the installer is a Drive Setup utility that lets you reformat the hard drive.
Those discs should never be separated from the computer if giving it to someone else, as they are very hard to come by.
If the machine boots into Mac OS X, you can use the Mac OS X installer retail disc to reformat the machine that is newer than the computer but still supported by the computer. Disk Utility will reformat the drive.
