Importing OBS Multitrack into FCPX

Hey people,

Have recorded some game footage with additional mic and music tracks.

Have remuxed from MKV to both .mov and .mp4.

In both instances the three audio tracks are selectable as you might select a language. Have tested this in both the VLC and Quicktime player so I know I've done the multitrack recording correctly in OBS.

However, when imported to FCPX I only see one track. Have tried expanding audio or adjusting audio settings in inspector but nothing is working.

I know this is probably ridiculously easy and that I'm most likely missing something quite obvious.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I've been trying to solve this all morning with no success.

Cheers :)

Hey man,

Just figured it out.

I was never in the audio inspector - I was in the video inspector the whole time.

Audio tracks are there and once checked, audio components can be expanded in timeline to reveal all tracks.

Not sure what you did, but you did something to tweak my brain in the right direction.

Cheers for the reply :)
