Does MacBook Air M1 doesn't support Chromecast?

I tried casting my screen using google chrome from my MacBook Air M1 to my Chromecast inbuilt android tv, but sometimes its does not shows my tv name, or when it does, and I try to connect with it, the tv gets connect and freezes the screen.

Is anyone having the same issue?

You have to use the web browser Google Chrome for Mac. Other Mac apps don't support it.

If it still does not work, contact Google Support. It is a Google Product, not Apple. https://support.google.com/?hl=en
