Why does my iMessage say read at a certain time, then later it showed an earlier time than originally time read?

Read messages I wanted to know why some iMessages say read to certain people but to others I can’t see it. And on top of that, some even can see if I read their message and what time but I can’t see if they read mine

Imessage read receipts I texted someone on imessage on Monday and it showed they read the message on Wednesday at 5:13pm. Following that day it showed that they read the message “again” on Friday at 1:55pm. What could have caused this?
