Pairing iPhone and Apple Watch on different Verizon Plans

What are the steps to use cellular on an Apple Watch that is on a different Verizon plan than my Verizon iPhone?

Pairing an iPhone and Apple watch that have different wireless carriers I currently have an iPhone and Apple Watch paired and on a cellular plan with the same wireless carrier. Getting ready to switch to a carrier that doesn't support Apple Watch. I will leave the watch with the old wireless carrier and cellular plan, but move the iPhone to the new wireless carrier and cellular plan. Will everything still function seamlessly? Does the iPhone and Apple Watch need to be with the same wireless carrier to function on a cellular network?

connecting iphone cellular to apple watch So, I changed cellular plans after I got my apple watch--but now I need to pair the watch so it will function even if my iphone is not near. I get to Apple Watch App> Cellular>Here it shows AT&T but says 'Not In Use'

It does not work that way.

It needs to be on the same plan.
