I will be sending my iPad (trade-in); how do I erase the iPad before I ship it?

Go to Settings- General- Scroll down to Reset- Erase All Content and Settings.

Entirely missing the point of necessary steps to correctly prepare the iPad for Trade-in - more specifically, removal of the Activation Lock. If the Activation Lock is not removed, the trade-in will be rejected.
