Error Code

So, I went on my desktop PC and tried restoring my iPhone 4S to factory settings using iTunes. It looked good as far as I knew and there were no issues. When iTunes got to the end of the bar for restoring the device to factory settings, it said Error Code (-1) Could not restore Device. So, that was confusing, so tried two more times, but again, the same Error message. I tried as far as going to a different PC, but no dice. Tried ReiBoot, but it only created a copy of the OS but can't restore if I have no Pro. So, could anyone tell me if I should try getting my hands on an older model Macbook, or ger Pro for ReiBoot? And if there is an employee here, please give me ideas on the fix. because I see no Error code fix for iPhone 4S Error code -1. I have only seen it referenced for the iPhone 5 on the website.
