Found an apple watch, how do i get in touch with the owner?
I just want to see if there is a way i can return a locked watch i found to the owner that doesnt involve turning it in anywhere that the person that lost it will never see it again.

If the owner puts out in Lost Mode it will display a custom message (with the owner's phone number) so that it can be returned. Otherwise there is not much else you can do other than turn it over to the authorities.
If your Apple Watch is lost or stolen - Apple Support
If the watch is Activation Locked, it will be useless to you or anyone else other than the owner.
