change polling rate on Mac

Hello everyone,

I have a glorious model o that I use for gaming on my Mac as well as work. I have a m1 Mac mini that runs its smoothly without lag, but my MacBook Air, doesn't run it so well. It lags on games and on my doc. The problem is polling rate from what I have understood, But I am wondering if there is a way to change that on my Mac without a pc. My mouse doesn't have a software to change it that can run on Mac, and I don't own a pc to run the software. please help D:

What is the polling rate of the new Magic Trackpad (2021 aka Magic Trackpad 3) I have a Magic Trackpad 2, but the polling rate is only 90hz vs the 120hz of the internal trackpad on my 14" MacBook Pro (late 2021). There is a noticeable stutter/slowness on higher refresh rate displays when I use my Magic Trackpad 2. I was wondering - does the new Magic trackpad from 2021 have a higher polling rate?

Mouse lag Big Sur continued This is continuing the earlier thread. On my 2020 Mini the mouse lag problem only began after update to 11.6 or possibly the update before that. I tried following the suggestion to select "Reset the Bluetooth module". That locked up the mouse cursor even though it's a USB mouse (Apple Pro Mouse). Perhaps that is a clue for Apple. I don't see any option to change its polling rate. Apparently that is what is needed.
