Ants in the keyboard. Yes, ants. You heard right.

Alright so my computer is apparently filled with ants, not the big fat ones either but itty-bitty ones that can easily get through the space around the keys. Even as I'm typing I'm having to stop every now and again to take the time out to squash the terrified little insects as the scurry from the hammering keys. My question is if it is possible to remove this plastic plate that surrounds the keys so I can blast this infestation out with some canned air.

What if you totally powered down and put it in a sealed 2 gallon zipper seal plastic bag for a bit. Would it kill them all? Maybe put something sweet and sticky in a little container away from the computer to attract them out of the keyboard?
This breaks the rule of "having tried it" but hey, I don't want to have to try this.
Good luck to you. It makes me a little itchy just thinking about it.
