Mic devices detected; Input Volume is max but no Input Level detected (USB or Line-in); Mics tested on other computer and working

Mac mini (late 2014) with macOS Big Sur 11.2.3

No input audio being detected at all (Input Volume set to max, but still no input levels detected). It was working before. I can't recall any install or system change that may have caused it.

Troubleshoot steps I already took:

  • Tested devices on other computer - all ok
  • Reset PRAM and NVRAM
  • Reset SMC
  • Updated OS
  • Tested with USB mic (external webcam with mic) + Line-in (Razer Blackshark v2 X)
  • Checked system info and as far as I understand, it looks ok (attaching 2 screenshots)

I'm out of ideas and can't find other ways to troubleshoot/fix. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

But the proposed solution didn't resolve it.

In regards the webcam, no updated drivers available. However, video works. It's jkust the audio that doesn't seem to work.

I tested both the cam and the Razer Headset I bought on other mac and windows computers and it's working on both + NO micro at all is working on my computer, no matter the entry ports (USB or line in).

Both line in and usb microphones are detected by the system but input is 0, even tough input level is set to max.

Any other suggestions?

Mac mini, macOS 11.2
