siri dont work after update to ios14

I called Apple and they said they thought the next update would resolve it. I noticed my phone had the wi-fi calling mode toggled off, and I usually keep that on. I toggled it on and haven't had another problem — oddly enough, even when I'm not using the home network. Who knows?? But for whatever reason, from a few hours after I talked to Apple it hasn't happened again one time.

Siri hears me when I say Hey Siri. So this isn't helpful. He just can't ever do a task. "Something is wrong, please try again later." It's not connectivity. I've done hard resets, turned siri off and on repeatedly and reset wifi. Nothing helps.
