Apple TV Loses Connectivity During Fitness Plus Workouts

Hi. I've been using Fitness plus through Apple TV. All great except on every other workout I lose connectivity about half way through the workout. No issues with my internet. And all my devices are up to date.

I'm using an Apple TV HD connected to my Apple Watch. I am not mirroring with the iPhone.

Also, extremely frustrating that I cannot then fast forward to the place where I lost connection. Can only do it all over again.

Help!

After reviewing your post, it seems like you are running into some issues with your Fitness+ connectivity. We definitely understand that having your workouts interrupted can be a concern and we'd love to help. Let’s start out by taking the following steps:

Restart your Apple Watch, iPhone or iPad where you have the app installed.
Restart Apple TV.
Disconnect any paired Bluetooth accessories (such as AirPods, speakers, etc).

Hi.

Unfortunately this did not solve the issue.

I restarted my Apple Watch. Note that the app is on Apple TV so this instruction did not make complete sense to me.

I restarted the Apple TV

No bluetooth accessories were connected.

All software had been updated.

Tried again today and I get the message "Device Connection Lost" at about minute 20 of a 30 minute workout. Very frustrating and almost making the app not useable.

Grateful for any further ideas.
