Issues syncing a iCloud folder in my finder, shared from another Mac

A client has shared an iCloud folder with me, but it won't ever update in my finder so I can't see when they drop new files in.

I can open the original link and see the files in my browser and download manually. How do I get finder to sync properly? Thanks

Problem with synchronization on iCloud Drive Hello, I got a big problem with my iCloud Drive. About a month ago i switched from MB Pro 2017 (Intel) to a MB Pro M1 2020. I've moved everything from the older MacBook to the newer one, all the applications and everything works fine - besides iCloud Synchronization. iCloud not syncing My wife has a 2018 Mac Mini and a brand new 2017 MacBook Pro 13 inch recently issued to her from work. There seems to be a syncing problem between the two devices. I can see iCloud Drive items on both computers but my wife has made changes to folders and files on the MacBook and they have not shown up on the MacMini in over 24 hours.

iCloud Drive is not syncing with my MacBook Air Hello all, I have a 2TB storage with iCloud and several files stored there. I update my files on a permanent basis and I am able to access and edit files in my iMac running Catalina (last accepted MacOS) and my iPhone 12 Pro with IOS 14.7.1. I have a MacBook Air running Big Sur, which I don't use on a daily basis. I had to use it today and for my surprise, when I opened Finder and went to iCloud Drive I noted files were not updated. Shouldn't it sync automatically ? My MacBook Air is listed as one of the devices connected to iCloud Any help will be welcome Thanks Paulo

It all depends upon them ( given read and write permissions for the folder and inside files ) Add or remove shared files and folders in iCloud Drive on iCloud.com - Apple Support
