2-finger gesture not working on iPad Pro with trackpad

I have an iPad Pro 2018 and recently picked up the Magic Keyboard for it (iOS 14.4.2). Occasionally, the two finger swipe gestures will stop working, while the one finger and three finger gestures seem to work. This does not seem to be a hardware issue, as I also experience it when using a Magic Trackpad paired with the iPad. This is a critical issue, since I can't scroll conveniently. Anyone else experiencing this or have a fix?

If there are any additional keyboards set up on the iPad, disable or remove them to see if it helps resolve this issue:
