Virus

I need to know if a message that popped up in my phone is legit from Apple. It’s says my phone has 4 viruses and I need to get an protect app.

it's a scam, ignore it and close the web page

This probably showed in your browser. Web pages don't have the privileges needed to actually detect viruses.
