After update to 14.4.2... Facetime and iMessage failing in main number (it works in apple id and secondary number). Continuously sharing "Unable to contact the iMessage server. Try again."
Followed the If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support page, either reseting my iPhone... no luck.

First, check to know whether you have an SMS plan enabled at least for One SMS with your carrier. Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) the agency who issued the SIM to you
If your iPhone is used with a carrier not found in the wireless carrier articles, make sure you can send and receive international SMS. (One SMS Only)

have you tried to re-activate while connected to WiFi?
sometimes activation fails while using cell data, have no idea why
this "cannot contact..." means that either servers are down (which is less likely, ofc) or there is a problem with your connection.
any recent changes in wifi router config, especially in ports allowed/disabled?
any limitations in cell data connection?
Nothing related with my connection (I used 4G and also different Wifis). Rare thing is it works (connects) with other number in my secondary phones. Seems like iMessages/Facetime are restricted to only one number? Or blocking my main one for any reason...
