Can no longer delete third party apps in 14.2.2

I have upgraded to iOS version 14.4.2, and the Delete option no longer shows when I do the long press. I have tried several third party apps. Is this a bug in the new version? How do I delete an app if the published instructions don't work?

First, try rebooting your iPhone.

If it did not make a difference, try this. On your iPhone, go to:

Settings -> General -> iPhone Storage. Try if you can delete the apps from there.

If that does not work, then you can try to check if you are allowed to delete apps, in Screen Time.

On your iPhone, go to:

Settings -> Screen Time -> Content & Privacy Restrictions -> iTunes & App Store Purchases -> Deletings Apps.

It must be set to Allow before you can delete apps.
