Podcasts temporarily unavailable... again and again.

Different shows, at all times. This keeps happening even to podcast episodes I have already listened to halfway! I go to finish them later and they are "temporarily unavailable." I am updating, restarting my phone, etc. and the problem goes away in about a day, but it keeps happening every other day nonetheless. My internet connection can be spotty but I don't think that's the problem because other apps have no issues. I close the app and reopen in a couple of minutes and still the episodes are unavailable. What the heck is going on? Please don't say system update -- I updated yesterday and got the error again today, after successfully listening to some podcasts this morning. What's your favorite, free, non-Apple podcast app?
