how to stop iCloud synchronization on one of two computers

I have an iMac and a MacBook.

iMac backups documents folder on iCloud Drive.

All iCloud Drive storage is downloading to MacBook. I want to stop it.

I don't need synchronization of all data through two computers. MacBook has 4 times less place.

How can I make it?

How to delete data from Macbook but leave it on iCloud and iMac?

Chack-box "documents" is off on MacBook iCloud Drive preferences, but synchronization is going on.

I need notes, contacts, etc., synchronization, so I can't just use another Apple ID for MacBook.
