How do I get a replacement for my Apple lightning to USB 2m I have had less than 5 months causing it not to charge. The cord is cracked on the end that connects to my iPad.

What info would you like for replacement for my USB 2m cord, purchased 11/13/2020. The cord has split need the iPad end causing interruptions in charging?

iPad Air 2, iPadOS 14

As has been mentioned, it might be covered by warranty. Since you purchased it as part of your iPad a good place to start about that is at this link --> iPad Service and Repair - https://support.apple.com/ipad/repair/service

If you want to purchase a replacement from Apple then try this link https://www.apple.com/shop/ipad/accessories/power-cables

The link provided earlier takes you to the web site in the United Kingdom which since this is an international support forum may not be what you want.

You could also just call Apple about this: Contact Apple for support and service --> "See a list of Apple phone numbers around the world."

If you are seeking a replacement under terms of your limited warranty, you would be best advised to contact the retailer from which your cable was purchased - and have proof of purchase to hand.

Should you need to purchase a replacement, they are readily available from Apple Stores and Apple Authorised Retailers.

We are all other users here, so you need to contact Apple support for a replacement. Use the link in the upper right corner of this page; after some questions, they will offer you options as to what steps to take next.

If you have Applecare, your cord would be covered; under the regular warranty, such damage is not as far as I know. But, it'll be Apple telling you what options are available.
