Hi
We have family sharing and our kids need to use their apple IDs (which are child accounts) to set up an account on an app...but we keep getting the error message
"Cannot Create Account - Your Apple ID cannot be used to create accounts for other apps"
Please help as I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of in the settings and privacy, security, etc...

Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner. Pick the closest topic you can find.
Thanks, I checked this out, as I hadn’t thought of that... but it appears as they are child accounts they do bot have the Sign In with Apple ID option and I can’t see an option on the app to Sign In with Apple ID so it’s supported as yet.
This is not helpful. The inability to "Sign in with Apple" for child accounts (age less than 13) makes it impossible, for example, to play Among Us.
There should be something like "ask for permission" to sign in, or something. As it stands, the only way around this is to create a fake account, completely circumventing the entire purpose of parental controls or age restrictions.
I am just a user like you sitting at home. I don't make the rules.
