Whenever I use apple carplay in any car (using spotify), the sound always sounds messed up almost like it is lacking bass or some other component. No matter what car I’m in, it sounds like this. When i use bluetooth, the sounds is perfectly fine. I have an iphone 11 with ios 14.4. How can i fix this? is this a spotify issue?

It appears you are having some difficulty with sound quality when using CarPlay.
The situation you outline has multiple variables and you'll need to do some isolation as a first step.
First does the same sound issue occur if you use the Music app? Is this with streamed content or is it with downloaded content or both?
If the issue isn't persistent when using the Music app, you'll have isolated this to an issue involving the Spotify app.
