iTunes Genius

What does it take for an album/song to generate a genius playlist?

The reason I ask, is that I have had the latest Alan Parsons album, The secret, since it was released back in April 2019, and yet here we are, two years later, and not one of the tracks will pull up a genius option.

I'm not sure it is a function of time so much as popularity. I think that many other Genius users would have needed to create manual playlists that include tracks from the album along with other music, in order to create data about what those tracks go with which then feeds into the Genius algorithm. But I'm only guessing, I don't have inside knowledge as to how it works under the hood and I don't think Apple have published any details.
