I downloaded CleanMyMac, but don't know what to do.Please help.

I downloaded CleanMyMac, but after 20min. I deleted it, but I am scared that there could be some files of it left. I was searching around library and deleted some, but don't know what to do now, if there are some files left. I heard there is some kind of uninstaller, but will it work if the app is deleted. I don't want to download any non apple programs that could uninstall it, because Im scared that they could damage something.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.2

Never install CMM on your mac, it will cause more harm than what it pretends to provide.

Use the developers instructions to uninstall it thoroughly.

In your case as you have deleted some of it you may need to install it again and then uninstall it.

Are there any AntiVirus, Disk Cleaner, Optimizers, Defrag, VPNs etc installed which should be removed as per Developers Instructions. They are useless, unneeded, cause havoc and interfere with the normal operation of the OS.

Not only are they not needed - they can corrupt the Operating System making the OS unstable and unusable and possibly requiring a Re-Installtion necessary
