Xcode stuck on installing with M1 MacBook

I am trying to install Xcode on my Mac, but it is stuck on "installing", even though it says it has installed 11.6/11.6 GB. It is a brand new MacBook, so I know it is not a storage issue.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling it, but the same thing happens. Does anyone know any fixes?

Xcode installation stuck I tried to install Xcode on my iMac M1. I got stuck at ‘Installing’ after the download. I read online to restart the computer so that’s what I did. When I got back there the app was ‘Downloading’ but it was stuck at 11.68Gb/11.68Gb and the bar was not moving. Now it’s back to the original ‘Installing’ and the bar is still not moving. Before that I also tried a solution to disconnect from the App Store, delete Xcode and start again. It also didn’t work. I just got my new iMac and I feel like I’m already messing up with my system files. There are two Xcode apps and the first one is already working if I double click on it, it's so weird!

Xcode can't open because it is updating I have a mac-mini (late 2014) running Monterey 12.3.1. Since 12.3.1 installed (a couple of weeks ago) I haven't been able to open Xcode. The message "You can't open the application 'Xcode' because it is being updated." appears. I've shutdown the machine down and restarted it - no change. Gone to the App store and tried to download Xcode again. It never completes. Just the line circling for hours. Is it time upgrade my machine?

Xcode stuck on installing Hi all something strange, xcode is correctly installed, but in the lunchpad it's missing the icon and it's stuck on installing: that doesn't go away even if I restart my macbook. I can launch xcode anyway. Is there a way to remove that icon stuck on installing? It' quite annoying because I always see the launchpad icon with in progress bar....

Edit: I was able to fix it by restarting my computer
