YouTube on Safari is low res and grainy; same video on YouTube on Chrome is crystal clear
Not sure why there's no way to choose Safari as a topic. Did I miss it?
Anyway, I recently and finally moved from Chrome to Safari on my MacBook. Not sure why but YouTube videos are noticeably lower quality and fuzzy, with frequent buffering, and more ads. Whe played through Chrome, it's HD and perfect. Same computer, same network: only the browser is different.
For all this talk about speed with Safari, I'm a little puzzled why the difference is so glaring and it's frustrating. I assume Google is doing this on purpose so that we'll all continue to use Chrome, but maybe there are settings I need to adjust in Safari.
Or maybe Safari just isn't great.
Any ideas?
