What is Final Cut Pro X?

I'm sure this is a dumb question...

What is Final Cut Pro X?

I haven't used my Mac in a few years (apart from turning on once or twice).

I'm editing some videos and having to relearn FCP.

The version I have is 10.5.2 - this is the latest version as far as I can tell.

I see youtube tutorials for 'Final Cut Pro X'.

You can buy it here: https://www.apple.com/uk-business/shop/product/D6109ZM/A/final-cut-pro-x

But then... I know I definitely have the latest version: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201237

Am I missing something? I can't see the 'X' anywhere on my FCP.

Thanks.

FCPX was the original name. The X was dropped last year as was the X in the macOS name.
