Static sound

about once a week when I’m using the Apple TV the sound comes out as very loud static. I’ve tried restarting, unplugging and reconnecting, turning off the tv, changing the input settings, using alternate apps and nothing seems to help. It resolves itself on its own, but it keeps happening. No time or length of viewing seems to correlate with this happening. Is this a common problem?

Sound problem with the Motortrend app Strange problem. We have two Apple TV 4K devices purchased within two weeks of each other. Both have the same set of applications loaded. Up until a few days ago everything was happy but now the Motortrend app on one is experiencing issues with the sound as if its being overdriven and clipped. Lots of staticy noise with louder sounds. The strange part is this is only happening on one of the devices. The other is working fine. I've deleted and reinstalled the app on the offending device but get the same results. Any ideas?

Apple TV Static/Popping Noise Connected my Apple TV 4K through HDMI pass through of a Yamaha receiver. I experience a clicking/popping almost static noise when scrolling or unpausing anything I watch. Happens on all surround speakers. Any idea what could be causing that?

Apple TV Lost sound The sound from Apple tv has stopped working all of a sudden. The tv sound works as we tested that. It's just the apple tv. We've tried everything including changing the HDMI cable

From this description, it seems like bad wiring, or bad speakers. Please elaborate about your audio setup.
