Forgot Apple ID password

What do I do if I forgot the password for my Apple ID, I am scared my phone will delete everything on it. I would just like to reset my password if possible

If you forgot the Apple ID password, enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get an email option if necessary.
