I bought an iPhone 12 Pro and backed my 7 up to iCloud. After activating the new phone, I can’t find my music, or iTunes for that matter. How do I get my music back?

Well, go complain to Adobe about them not supporting newer macOS for the version of Lightroom you have.

As for the music, it’s not backed up because of DRM so you need to sync it to the new phone like you did the last. You can see the bare minimum macOS/iTunes version for each iOS at https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-8871

Then update to the minimum macOS using https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT211683 and sync the music over.

Otherwise you can look into

a. Apple Music or iTunes Match compatibility, or

b. transfer the music to another computer the iPhone can sync to iTunes with. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201625

No. Music I bought on CD and loaded to iTuned on my iMac then synced to my iPhone 7. The catch is my iMac will no longer backup my iPhone unless I update the OS on the iMac. I do ‘t want to do that or Lightroom (standalone) will stop working. It feels like extortion. I paid Apple for Lightroom. I paid for all that music. Noe Apple won’t let me play it using my new $1,200 phone. I might be done with Apple.
