iTunes Match sync

My iMac and PowerBook Pro are both running OS 11.2.3 and Music 1.1.3.3, but the PowerBook Music preferences does not offer the option to sync music with iTunes Match as on the iMac and iPhone. The Music preference panels are different on the PowerBook. any thoughts?

You need to be signed into your Apple ID and have authorized the computer in order to turn on Sync Library. See Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music - Apple Support. The process is the same for iTunes Match as Apple Music.
