Can’t turn off the phone

Can’t turn off the phone. My wife has an iPhone 11. Icons on the screen are double size and we can’t turn the phone off. When the on/off button and the volume button are press together, And SOS emergency icon appears and starts counting down from 5 to 0. No matter how long the buttons are held down phone will not turn off.

My iPhone 13 won’t do anything. I held the power button and the volume down button at the same time and nothing changed. I also held in the power button as I held in the button on the left and nothing happened. My phone screen says slide to power off but it won’t let me slide it.

If you can't access Settings because your Home screen icons are magnified, double tap with three fingers on the display to zoom out.
