Apps not downloading

My Apple ID password doesn’t work when I try to download/update apps on my iPhone, however it works fine on my iPad. The password also works for other Apple ID related things on my iPhone, just not on apps. I’ve restarted the phone and changed the passwords but still nothing. Just says ‘your Apple ID or password is incorrect’.
