how can do i update my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) OS X El Capitan

i can't seem to find any updates available on my mac, i updated El Capitan to help my computer run better but i need to update it to OS X version 10.15.7 or newer so i can use a few Apps.

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.11

A 2012 MacBook Pro can upgrade to Catalina 10.15.7 but not to Big Sur macOS 11. To upgrade to Catalina, see: How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support
